Davies Orchard Cottages are Getting a Refresh

Construction has begun at Davies Orchard. The design for the Davies Orchard site offers a valuable opportunity to enhance regional use of the Davies Orchard area of Crippen Regional Park, celebrate the orchard's unique heritage, and attract more visitors to this important public place. As part of the larger project, JIM is restoring six original turn-of-the-century cottages that were part of a 19th-century steamship resort, once the largest in Western North America.

Many of the cottages were weathered and in a state of neglect.
